    Affordable aircraft hiring in MA

I don't think you're going to find much directly off the T or commuter rail, but there's a ton a flight schools in the area. 7B3, KBED, KBVY, KLWM, 6B6, 2B2 all have flight training and most likely rentals. I think OWD does as well, and I think its not far from the commuter rail. Might be your...

Its much better now. Before it was paved, there were no real runway lights, and a red light on a pole on the north end. If you couldn't see the red light when landing heading south, you were too low as the trees were blocking the red light.

Yup, its not a runway I'll take off with my 172 fully loaded when its 95deg out, either. I'll have the squirrels throwing acorns at me at the end of the runway. I have seen Comanches and Mooneys there before during the summer, but I'm guessing they're not heavily loaded.

Studying for IFR, raining outside, daydreaming... What would y'all recommend for a next plane? Home field is 2100' paved. Grass strip parallels it. Currently have a 172M. Would like to go faster and carry a little bit more. Would worry about a Mooney consistent getting into field of this length...

Road Bump in Buying a Plane - No Place to Put It

It might be more helpful to go there in person and ask. An email is very easy to dismiss, but showing up in person shows more commitment. Especially if you have a plane that needs a spot asap.

Deltahawk update from S&F looks good!

Would you end up with a long-nosed 172 switching to the Rotax? I imagine its lighter than the Lycoming engines, and would need to be moved further forward to keep the CG the same.

the "not worthy of it's own thread" thread

I miss our boat for poking around the ocean when its calm and all the rivers and inlets around coastal NH, but I don't miss working on it. I also discovered that I suck as a saltwater fisherman.
