You can erase the R. There is a clear function on the top right with a circular figure depicting undo. It will undo the last drawing...then the next ...and so on.

Usually by the time I get the plane out of the hangar, taxi to runway, fly about 30 minutes, and taxi back to hangar, the engine has been running almost one hour...oil temps in green. Get the oil at least 180-200 degrees to burn off any condensation and you should be ok. My local sight seeing...

I would not worry about the charger...the tv remote is listening to your every word while the hidden cameras are watching you.

Thanks, EdFred..not a big deal since FF has all airports. The funny thing is, I have not programmed coordinates in a while...never realized there are now 6 different formats..the 430 only takes degrees, minutes, seconds. I had to change settings in FF from digital to old style.

I appreciate the offer, but yes I have ForeFlight and the airport info is available. I like to use the GNS430 as well as ForeFlight any time I fly cross country just for backup. I was just not aware the private airports were not in the Garmin nav database until recently. Someone suggested...

Old KLN94 gps units have private airports in current navdata..go figure.

I have had this happen several times using ForeFlight and my Stratux...I suspected some sort of wifi glitch or loss of gps integrity. Same result as you..next flight normal.

You can download a GNS430/530 simulator for your pc if you just want to practice.

You have to be very careful what you reveal as "news". In this instance, maybe the military did not want to reveal the technology that they have at their disposal..or some other reason.
