Sometimes making the go/no go decision can be difficult, as the temptation to complete the mission is always really strong. I learned a lot on this one, including what ATC sounds like when they are diappointed in a Cirrus pilot....

I had the chance to fly my plane from L.A. to the San Francisco Bay Area on an instrument plan for work and had a really interesting flight in IMC avoiding icing and being vectored all around on the approach. Hope you enjoy this video!

Glad you found the video useful. From my understanding, the HDX works equally well with a Garmin Navigator. The HDX does not control the Avidyne unit at all and the information is just one way from the IFD unit to the HDX. I am fairly certain the Garmin navigators output the same information...

I have noticed that as well in the 6 and previous PA28 I owned. Maybe less so in the Cessna because of the high wing but it is a really good point and observation. Once in ground effect things always seem to just settle out and stabilize. Thanks!! I started making these videos to share...

we have barf bags in the seat pocket for when we are in the air. No one has ever used them (yet).
