Any car collectors looking for something rare?

Definitely do not want a GT350 or GT500. I've raced Mustangs for a very long time and looking forward to getting into something different. Amazing performance, no doubt. I've thought about a 944, Miata, etc, but I don't want a dedicated racecar and would enjoy something with a little...

Finish commercial early 2020. CFI by late 2020. Dream about being some kind of professional pilot. Tail wheel...glider...

Any car collectors looking for something rare?

Ford claims to have built the car as a factory race car, but there is no roll cage. Custom Recaro seats are factory as is radio delete, a/c delete and rear seat delete. A capable driver can nail similar lap times to a new generation Boss 302. That's pretty fantastic considering the almost 15...

Any car collectors looking for something rare?

This is why I need to sell it NOW!! :D I've raced nothing but Mustangs for the past 20 years. I'm finally switching sides. You can, too. ;)

Any car collectors looking for something rare?

Sound advice! :) Looks like the last one on BAT with similar mileage bid to just under $40k without the aftermarket stuff I've got. If I can get near $43k for it, I'd be happy. I know I'll kick myself in 5-10 years when the cars are selling for six figures.

Definitely considering that. I'm not a huge fan of their process. Deciding on allowable reserves and such.

Any car collectors looking for something rare?

I'm strongly considering selling my 2000 Mustang Cobra R. Pretty darn rare as Ford only built 300 examples and sold for almost $55k when new! The car sits in my garage, collecting dust and I'd like to replace it with a Z06 to get back into autocross and HPDEs. While the pic is not of...

    My $0.02 on King Commercial

I've used Sheppard Air for PPL, instrument and am now working on commercial. Simple, guaranteed to get you through the written. Their products are all about rote memorization so you will need to supplement it if you actually want to learn and apply the material.

    5 Day Accelerated Commercial Training

From my understanding, TAA would basically mean an aircraft with a G1000, but does not need to have retractable gear.

quickest alt gain on Cessna 150?

I've got a 150/150 and the climb rate is satisfactory. What isn't is the endurance with factory fuel tanks. :( Our STC did allow for an increase in gross to 1760lb.

    Embry-Riddle vs FBO/local

I'm planning on CFI after commercial, and thought a degree in aviation would be helpful moving forward. I'd like to purse a professional flying career over the next few years as I'll be 50 in 6 years. Time to do something different. :)

    Embry-Riddle vs FBO/local

I've considered ERAU for their online aeronautics degree, but I'm looking for alternatives, as well. I've already got my private, instrument rating, high performance and complex endorsements and I'm about two months or so from my commercial check ride. Any opinions on online alternatives?

CFI Here - Cross Country Flight Planning Question

I had to do it the "old" way for my private check ride in 2015. Having said that, I haven't touched a paper sectional since, nor have I laid a finger on my E6B having purchased the ASA's CX-3, and that's taken me through my instrument rating and most of my commercial. I guess it's really...

    Sportys E6B

I've been using the CX3 for a couple of years and REALLY enjoyed it on the instrument written. I'll never use the whiz wheel again. Matter of fact, I donated mine to an aspiring private pilot student. :)

    Takeoff under the hood?

I did one in instrument training. While entertaining and affirming the skills necessary were there to do it, it absolutely confirmed that I would never do it in actual conditions. If one needs to get back in a hurry, I have yet to see an approach that can be done in 0/0 conditions with the...

    Value of DME

I would at least argue that in the event of a GPS failure, DME would allow you to fly a LOC approach (provided you still have a nav/com wired to a CDI). The class D that I fly out of has a LOC that will get you down to 360'. Not a bad option really.
