Hey buddy can you spare a PMA-450?

Can anyone loan me a PMA-450 audio panel? Mine is going back to the factory for service. I’ll be grounded if I can’t find a slide-in replacement Thanks

    PA28R-200 Air Tex interior

    Zeftronics: Unreliable Warranty

That's a hell of a markup. The Plane Plower regulator is a $300 item. I have a Zeftronics that's been working for the last 20+ years. If it dies, I'll probably replace it with a PlanePower. I have a PlanePower alternator.

has POA been infiltrated by chatGPT?

I've seen a few posts by a new user that look suspiciously like some kind of AI like chatGPT. Has anyone else noticed this?

    Piper Arrow Fuel Pressure

Piper Arrows have wet gauges (both oil and fuel pressure), at least up to the Piper Arrow II. Later year models may have senders, but I don't know for sure. I have a 75 Arrow II. I struggled with the fluctuating fuel pressure gauge for a few years. Three years ago my A&P change the...

    Easy decision

All loaded up, taxi to fuel pad, all fueled up, fired up, and... we're not going:(. Was getting ready to launch for a 1.5 hr trip to see the grandkids. We'd had the tickets for a train ride to the North Pole for six months, and the grandkids were waiting for us. Easy IFR (just clouds, no...

    What happens after an Accident

Yep. Insurance is a wonderful thing. It lets you sleep at night knowing that if some idiot does something stupid you are covered, even if that idiot is you!

    What happens after an Accident

Why wouldn't insurance cover it? up to the limits of the policy, of course. I imagine they'll receive a check for the full hull value, and the liability limits may be tested due to the property damage. I say again, "Why wouldn't insurance cover it?"

Century 1 AP driven from the CDI?

I had a Century I (Piper Autoflite II) in my Arrow when I bought it in 1995. It had the NavTracker option. It tracked VOR courses very well once established. I used the chit out of it. I would always file airways so that I could use it to track the VORs. When I had my first IFR GPS...

    Starlink for aviation...

Starlink for Aviation is coming in 2023. So, I got an email about Starlink for in-motion use for RVs (the 4-wheeled kind). I don't have an RV (either kind), so I don't know why I got that e-mail. I went to the Starlink website and found out that it's $135/month + a one-time charge of...

    PA-28R-200 Hydraulics

Holy crap! I just looked at post #5, which I didn't read before I posted. He even had the reference to a lighter fluid can! I'm just wondering how hindsight2020 was able to read my mind in the future and preemptively plagiarize my post that I made some 18 hours later...:dunno:

    Piper Cherokee 140 restoration

I hate to be a pedant (or maybe I don't, because details matter when it comes to airplanes), but it's SB1006.

    PA-28R-200 Hydraulics

    1. There is a reservoir on the firewall - on the engine side. That is the brake fluid reservoir. It looks like it was made from an old can of lighter fluid. The gear hydraulic reservoir is located at the base of the pump, which is located behind the baggage compartment near the battery...
