We could start a ball bearing delivery around the country, like the Monkey. First guy takes 998 ball bearings to the next guy, who leaves with 997 ball bearings, etc, till they’re all gone.
My in-laws still own and rent out their former house in So Cal. It all works pretty well until they need a major repair, which in an older house will come sooner rather than later. Major plumbing work and a new roof in the past year or so.
The compressions are fine. Even the 62 isnt that much cause for real concern. However, if one were going to pull a cylinder to look at why not pull the LOW one??
My wife would have a chance. She can hold straight and level, make turns, program the GPS, talk on the radio, switch freqs, engage the autopilot, and work ForeFlight. We've been discussing doing some landings.
I think we were around 3500. It’s like dropping into a void. Since you have no initial airspeed, you don’t have much initial control until you gain some speed. Skydivers definitely love jumping balloons!
I never met the actual owner. Mine was owned by a rich guy that had several planes and pilots to fly them. I met the broker and the pilot of the plane. Talked to the pilot a couple of times after the sale but nothing after about 6 months.
Yeah, that’s a nice park. We camped at the campgrounds at the end of the runway. There’s about 5 or 6 campsites and it’s fenced. We had it all to ourselves and could let the dogs run. Highly recommended.
