If it takes an estimated 156 hours to add an IFR GPS to an airplane, it would be more reasonable to simply buy a new airplane with the GPS already installed. Let the last guy pay the insane cost for what is considered "reasonable" labor. Yet another vote for E-AB aircraft from me.
