Ok who's going to make the PoA bandannas so we know who's a PoA member? :D

    Off-putting things in aircraft ads.

I’ve seen a lot of multi engines leave hours off of one engine but the other is low time. Like “this is the one you should care about!” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tall guy question!

It's so true. So, so true. I'm hurtin' today.

    Tall guy question!

I think it's reasonable to ask you to do some homework before we do some homework for you. I'm pretty sure it's all to common in any industry to have a new person come in, do no homework, and ask the community to do it for them. As an example, my wife and I are combined 300lb after a heavy...

You considering multi engine (and aware of the maintenance)? Do you already have your PPL? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You’re going to need to give one up. Also.. price range? How long? Any idea of load? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seneca vs Baron 55 Operating Cost

As a Mooney M20K owner with a TSIO-360-LB, I’m inclined to agree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone use Watson Aero for Continental overhauls?

I actually watched his video on them. Nice. They seem like all-around good guys and have great reviews from BeechTalk. I'll give a pirep in a few months, I guess.

I'll never know. No reason to go after this for me, now. :-)

They’re seeking new sites. Reno’s tired of them, it seems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone use Watson Aero for Continental overhauls?

Going between a few shops for overhauls and Watson seems to have a pretty good timeline (quoting 14-16 weeks) and a reasonable price, with a lot of good parts replaced. I've heard some horror stories, even from some of the shops I'm considering. I haven't heard much about Watson Aero, so I...

    Too hot to fly Legally?

Took off a few days ago from CGZ at 4pm (110f) and my eyes were burning so bad from all the sweat, literally couldn't wipe it off fast enough. You guys are nuts. Too hot in the middle of the day in AZ unless your plane has AC.

Wait why would you own a plane if you're not going to have wings or struts in pictures you take while flying so you can assert your pilot dominance to your friends?

San Diego Bay Tour - Wow

https://www.sandiegoskytours.com/flyers-blog/2019/11/20/flying-the-san-diego-bay-tour-tricks-and-tips Is this still relatively up to date? Flying in from Phoenix to KCMA and was thinking about doing the SD bay "taxiway delta" tour, to the Hollywood Park VFR corridor (or any VFR corridor) in LA...

Successful trip to KVGT and back after panel upgrade. Definitely reassessing takeoff minimums in the summer. Turbocharged or not. Just grueling climb rates. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not much, but super excited. Flew the plane to KFFZ for an avionics upgrade in November, and it's been atrocious ever since. New mechanic has fixed all the issues created by the original installer, and more, as of Monday. Feels like I've got a totally new plane. Absolutely thrilled.

Complex/HP insurance for low time private pilot

Just chiming in with my experience: - Got insurance for an HP/CMP M20K after a fresh PPL (about 95 hours.. rental was so cheap I just flew a ton before checkride). The price was $8000 annually ($200k hull insurance) - I put 150 hours in the M20K in the first 4 months. Called insurance. They...
