What cataract eye lens type does FAA dissaprove of?

fwiw department. Had coke bottle thick lenses most of my life. Wouldn't even get up to pee in the middle of the night without putting them on. The 2? weeks between doing each eye were weird. Things were different sizes in each eye (I took one lens out of my old glasses). Semi fun to blink...

A fly-in for the rest of us.

I have no idea. But, yea, it's real helpful to not show runway length, elevation, etc. when the poop hit the fan and "objectionable" is the only choice in range.

If you are building a quickish build kit with a factory new engine and all the bells and whistles to "save money" you aren't going to save money. Changing an E-AB after certification

What would be the point? If you want to build using things like additive manufacturing, CNC machining, etc. it would only make sense if you designed with the manufacturing processes in mind. Otherwise you are driving drywall screws with a hammer.

    shade tree engine mount repair

Early T-18s were built with supposedly safe cut down props - after a couple fatal accidents where imbalance from a thrown blade ripped the engines out of the aircraft, it was determined that failure was inevitable with the modified props. A safety cable is cheap insurance.

In the Philadelphia Bravo, no ADSB

"Does not show up on ADS-B" - what do you mean by that? Something like Flight Aware or you have a dedicated ADS-B receiver? Could be too low and too far away from a ground station for Flight Aware to pick up. I know that I disappear from Flight Aware when I get below pattern altitude at ONZ...

    Changing an E-AB after certification

Your operating limitations will spell that out - the details have varied over time. But, in general, a major modification will require going back to phase 1 and may require that you notify the FAA.
