Hey old people, tell us what you can't do!

Just get them FFS. My wife didn't want to get cataract surgery. Just no. Not gonna do it. I kept telling her that it was no big deal and she would be glad that she did. Nuh uh. Nope. Not happening. You will never guess the ending.

What is "geomagnetic center" SE of KEZF on sectional

    That's where hurricanes are controlled.

Hey old people, tell us what you can't do!

You be referring to the Naproxen Sodium? Don't have to get up to pee. But by 4 or 5 AM things hurt enough that there is no point in lying in bed so I head for the bathroom to "reset". Before that I can get by with rolling around to find the exact pose that lets me get back to sleep.

Hey old people, tell us what you can't do!

One thing I CAN do is drive without glasses. When I was younger, I could barely walk safely with out glasses. (Cataract surgery) Another thing I have gotten real good at is sweating. Walk the dog for a couple miles and I come back soaking wet. Even when I'm freezing cold. On the other hand...

    Manifold pressure(aircraft) vs engine vacuum(automotive)

Absolute pressure and gauge pressure are different and the internal construction of the two types of gauges are different. Gauge pressure measures the pressure difference from ambient. If you had a gauge connected to nothing, it would read 0 on the ground and 0 at 20,000 feet. Absolute pressure...

    King KT76A + Narco AR-850 Encoder - Mode C Altitude Glitching

Vintage transponders get the information from the encoder through a parallel "Grey code / Gilham code" connection where you have one wire for each bit in the message. If you have two specific altitudes that are getting reported you may be able to determine which wire is loose in the harness...

    outside storage

That's the big risk. Worse with aluminum than fabric. But hail big enough to dent is pretty rare and is localized - at least here in S.E. Michigan. Florida may be another story.

    Battery Lawn Mowers

One other point. A guy I used to work with was backing up with his mower when he tripped. His (and yours) reaction was to hang on to the handle as he fell which pulled the running mower over his foot. Score: Mower 1, end of his foot 0. With an electric, you just let go of the safety thing and...

    outside storage

The old man kept the Cessna 120 on a tie down for years - like most of the other airplanes at the airport back then (Detroit area). Cleaning snow and Ice off when you want to go for a ride is a PITA. Pre-heating with no electricity is less convenient. Having to shovel your way to the taxiway is...

    Battery Lawn Mowers

I've had a Skill 40V mower and blower for the last few years. Barely puts a dent in the battery on my small yard.

Back firing on power to idle. Lycoming 540 Edition

There is a film/puddle of fuel on the walls of the intake manifold. If you pull the power off quickly, the fuel "flash" evaporates and you get too rich of a mixture. And, pop, pop, pop.

    Our move to Texas

The seats were installed so the Brat could be imported as a "passenger vehicle" and avoid a 25% tariff on trucks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_tax

    Did you know…

Spins the same way - you reverse both the armature and the field currents so the rotation stays the same. Permanent magnet DC motors on the other hand... Had a '59 Sunbeam Alpine that was supposed to be positive ground, but when I bought it someone had installed the battery as negative ground...

Be a little more specific please!

My airplane is white. Does that help?

    Our move to Texas

I thought you were showing your support for transgendered people by making your airplane transgendered.
