    [NA] e-SIM card, travel

I have used TMobiles service in 6 or 7 countries and it’s ok. It wasn’t great in Cameroon, so I got a local Sim and it was SIGNIFICANTLY better. I just came across this (after my 3 international trips this year…) and I plan to try it when I go to the Philippines in February. It’s called saily...

    Price's Law

I always heard 10% of the people do 90% of the work. Well, in the case of 100 people, 10% IS the square root! In my church, we are actively working to spread the workload around. Even if you can’t do X, or even Y, could you do Z? but yes, those most committed to the project/organization do tend...

Looking for info on less lethal/non lethal self defense products

Best advice I ever received in regards to caliber choice is this: "At the end of the day, bad guys don't like holes."

I’m really surprised that it took 8 responses before the Bo came up! I figured it would be in all caps in post #2!

Looking for info on less lethal/non lethal self defense products

@MauleSkinner Thanks for providing additional information. I can only imagine the intensity of that situation and the residual effects that has and will likely continue to have. Those above have addressed the majority of the significant concerns. As stated, if the boundaries are being pushed to...

Is Broken at 1300 considered VFR?

So let’s say you’re a VFR private pilot and you come in to this airport. You are 100% good to make that approach. But my question is, what happens if you have to do a go around?

    Meat eaters need not reply

You guys remind me of the salad I had the other night. I mean, it had a lot of tomato and crouton and was topped with cheese…call it a pizza if you want, but I insist it was a salad!

    Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

I got 125. 90 + 35 = 125 meaning that the other angle of that lower triangle is 55 (to total the 180 for the triangle). To make the straight line, you do 180 - 55 to get back to 125. I've been wrong before, so this may be no different. You are right though, the left triangle doesn't make sense...

    Fokker down Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

Fair. I agree that far too often we get into speculation rather than data evaluation. And I’m sure I’m guilty of it too.

    Fokker down Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

Just to be clear, that was just a post that was shared with me. However, I think we would be wise as information becomes available to do as we do with other accidents and put the pieces together to form a picture from which we can learn. I'm sure he would want us to learn from his situation so...

Lest this get overlooked, the point is that the poster is claiming that the Egyptians, not the Real Housewives and Confused Cat originated this meme.

If you can fly the horse up here, I'll be happy to meet you at the airport with a truck and horse trailer and board him until the storm blows through!
