its now more functional on my phone than my iPad... I tried updating the iPad today and deleted the app, only to find out my iPad is too old for the new one... So Im SOL until I buy a new iPad...

another thing to consider is that many EFB's (I don't know about yours) have different levels of functionality between a cell phone and iPad. you might want to see if you are going to lose something by switching to a phone.

I agree. but it put the plane outside my acquisition budget. I'm still looking at 175's. Im not afraid of the GO-300 if its been run right. and who knows, maybe down the road, I can save up the pennies to put a 360 in it!

the STC from Stoots is $15,600. Plus engine and prop. I just asked them yesterday while looking at the same plane. for me, it wasn't worth it, but Im not an A&P. I also wasn't looking to flip it.

yes. Its getting better. Also, I realized that it defaulted my settings back to having "snap to location" off. all is well here. Now I just need to get up flying... Although I don't see that happening soon. Also, Im a little bummed that I can't get Puerto rico IFR charts.

Yeah, any time I don't have a GPS signal, it defaults there.

I meant to stop in there before I moved away... life got in the way. It stinks that it closed, but there are other short runway airfields around that are thriving. Hampton, NH is 2100' with trees and is in the process of rebuilding the airfield cafe and adding hangars. 1600' is awfully short...
