as someone who has to submit reports every year for both ATC and my pilot medical, I have never had the FAA care enough to ask for 6 vs 4 hours of usage or any other parameters. I ask my care provider to send me a year report and I forward it to FAA medical. done and done.

I only usually ask for wind aloft readouts when I am asked by another aircraft. so Im usually asking for a specific altitude (Say winds at FL380). I wouldnt ask a GA plane though... Maybe some of the PC12s that fly around here because I know they are equipped...

I have an Apple Watch 6 and I don’t usually have a problem getting my O2 reading. I usually grab my shoulder strap with my watch hand and hold it tight to my chest. I also keep my hand relatively snug.

I put myself and my wife down on the spreadsheet. I would really enjoy getting to know more pilots! I love flying here in Puerto Rico, and there are great people here, but I dont speak fluent spanish and all the social events are in spanish. so I lose out on some of the camaraderie.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I doubt it would take much convincing to get my wife on board, if you guys are willing to put up with a forum “lurker”. We would be coming from the other direction. Puerto Rico.

These guys are having a blast on this trip! I worked them yesterday through San Juans airspace and chatted with them a little bit (as much as I can while being professional on freq.) and you can tell they are enjoying themselves immensely

Thats how I listen to Uncontrolled Airspace. 1.5x it makes the hosts seem just a little hyper sometimes. lol. it also makes them seem unnaturally slow when I go back to normal speed.

You're getting close enough that you should be making calls on CTAF? I dont think Ive ever told a controller I had a field in sight without seeing it, but Ive asked to cancel flight following knowing that the airport is just around a hill or something like that.

I have 6 5 gallon gas cans that I bring with me. I bought a transfer pump from West Marine that works well. I have a low wing, but even with a high wing, you can set the can on the wing and let gravity do the work to transfer fuel. you wont have to hold the can upside down
