Because I need gas and I don’t want dirt and crap in my fuel tank, as well as refuel with a potentially broken fuel hose, as well as have to pay more for fuel to pay for fixing a broken fuel hose. Oh - and watch a fuel fire as a spark from a dragging fuel nozzle ignites gasoline vapor.
