    Time between filing and flying

Yeah, I think the 30 min was the analog days. Back when you chiseled the flight plan to stone and it was carried to OKC by camel.

Airplane as a business expense/deduction/write off, whatever?

What about if your parents pay for an aviation school? Is your kid now being compensated as a student pilot?? I think good judgement is the key.

This one is VERY hard to listen to...I'm guessing another "cognitive decline"...

Also remember that someone effing up like that in TEB, also affects airplanes going into EWR, LGA, and probably a few more. It’s not just about inconveniencing a few into TEB.

Trent Palmer (YouTuber Bush Pilot Channel) Suspended By FAA

I’m not a Comanche guy, but in my airplane I expect to see a certain pitch/power/airspeed and “drag noise” on final. I could not imagine training myself to accept something different.

So, student pilots.. Who are we and where do we stand?

be it will be a different way of flying if you opt for airlines. Very regimented and standardized procedures with crew (CRM) resources management, with you may not be used to… but will get familiar with. If you go non airline, charter, rules are all over the place. Good luck.

    Resorts near small airports?

I have been in there several times. Just be careful. Cars/trucks cross the runway at will.

    Forgetting to switch tanks

Part of being a pilot is to constantly monitor systems. “Forgetting” to switch fuel tanks is negligent imo.

So, student pilots.. Who are we and where do we stand?

Trust me…. If you want to be a pro, you will do an ATP ride every six months.

Can a Sport Pilot get a Glider cert and then a Commercial Glider cert without medicals?

After this post I reread the thread, giving you the benefit of the doubt. I saw nothing to substantiate your claims. As a word of advice… if you come here looking for answers, you may want to accept the answers and tone down your rhetoric. You will never get responses with that crappy attitude.

    “Possible Pilot Deviation” explained

I do not believe the controller knows about an RA (resolution advisory) until the complying pilot reports the RA… which is required (I.e. “XXX123 TCAS climb”).

    “Possible Pilot Deviation” explained

Yeah, I’ve had a couple of RA’s over the years and never received a PPD. In fact, it’s REQUIRED we comply with the RA… even if you have traffic in sight.

Do you know of any pilots who have been certified after experiencing psychosis?

I don’t even know what psychosis is, exactly ??
