    Tesla Pickup Unveil

The Waymo fleet is close to that but there are limitations. Chiefly, they are geofenced into a small area and sometimes get stuck needing support intervention. https://waymo.com/

    Tesla Pickup Unveil

The hardware is used for Autopilot, which is included in every Tesla. Only the additional FSD features cost extra. But, Teslas are not for everybody. I'm okay with that. I probably wouldn't want the type of car that you drive, either, though I have no interest in describing the reasons why I...

    Tesla Pickup Unveil

There's no requirement to buy FSD. All cars come with Autopilot. FSD is an add-on option.

    Tesla Pickup Unveil

Each revision improves the smoothness of how it drives. It takes a few days to get comfortable with what it can do. Soon, you'll know what it does very well and what situations can cause it problems. That will remove the stress from monitoring and you'll find that using FSD is less...

Airbus (not Boeing) Fire at gate.

Ground power is 115v/400Hz high-current, 3-phase A/C regardless of the name on the airplane. Fires can result when current flows where it isn't supposed to flow.

    KLGB ILS Canceled for B737

LGA does it on intersecting runways. Normal operation. Airplane cleared to land. Another airplane cleared for takeoff and crosses the first airplane's runway when it's within about 20 seconds of reaching the threshold.

    KLGB ILS Canceled for B737

Yes, they can. The default rule is that they can not but many facilities (towers) have procedures approved to allow it under specific conditions. All large airports do. In LGA's case, the Line up is on one runway and the landing is on the other. Such as, departing 13, arriving 4. Many other...

GPS Direct to fix, homing vs track

There is no +/- 4nm flying IFR. That is the width of an airway, and the controlled airspace associated with it. It does not mean that an IFR flight can fly anywhere within that 8nm-wide path. 14 CFR § 91.181 Course to be flown. Unless otherwise authorized by ATC, no person may operate an...

    Nashville BBQ

I've never had their chicken. I've always had the pulled-pork. No mustard on that. Either way, not my favorite spot in the terminal. I'd go for the hot chicken at Party Fowl or the muffuletta at Kitty Hawk. I looked it up and there's now FOUR hot chicken places in the terminal. 400 Degrees...

    Nashville BBQ

Which restaurant? Tootsie's isn't exactly a BBQ place, but they do have a BBQ sandwich. Don't think you're talking about Bar-B-Cutie, in the A/B food court. I haven't been down the B-concourse in a while but there might be a BBQ pace there. Also, probably one in the food court mid-way down...

Taking a deeper dive into maneuvering speed

The V-g diagram, that Half Fast posted, is key to understanding Va. At, or below, Va, the wing will stall before positive-g loading increases above the certification limit. Va does not protect against negative-g loading, as you can see by going down from Va on the V-g diagram.

Flight Plan Filed -- Told to Expect Different Route

Clearance Delivery, at your departure airport, is not going to know what a TRACON or Center will be able to do down the road. Depart IFR then negotiate in the air. Cancel if you can't get what you want.

Do airlines or employers care what kind of logbook I have?

Don't be afraid to use more than one line for a flight when you have more remarks to enter than will comfortably fit on one line. The bigger professional logbooks are good because you won't go through them so quickly. Find an electronic logbook to parallel your paper logbook. Find one you...

Flight Plan Filed -- Told to Expect Different Route

With good VMC, you have another option. Depart with the re-route then try to negotiate a shorter route. If they are not able to do that, ask if you can get the routing you want if you go VFR-ON-TOP for the segment that they can not approve. You'll fly at a VFR altitude but remaining with ATC...

Boeing cargo plane makes emergency 'belly' landing

I wouldn't say maintenance shortcomings. They are usually mechanical failures. Perfect maintenance doesn't prevent all mechanical failures.

Challenger Jet down in Truckee CA 7/26/21

Challenge accepted! My 767 type is not restricted. That was done when flying for ATI in 2012. They have since stopped maintaining circling qualifications. I never did one in the airplane.
