I hope none of you were waiting for the Apple electric car...

I see what you did there. :D

    Students are "Learners" now...........

I think you helped me figure out my mental turmoil over this. I'm all in favor of language changing, colloquially, on its own. I don't say "rad" anymore unless ironically. Times have moved on and away from certain words, and language evolved. Rad! :D The recent changes do not seem to have...

    Henning gone west

Well dang. His reddit comment history is something else. Demons, indeed.

    Students are "Learners" now...........

I'm actually curious about this myself. I have adapted to the change but I have zero clue what prompted it, nor understand how it is better. I assume I'm not part of the aggrieved class this aims to relieve. :)

    Students are "Learners" now...........

I wonder if the prior 250 years of change was as forced-feeling to the population back then, as the current language modification feels to me today.

    Students are "Learners" now...........

By following the new naming, you too are a learner pilot without need for CFI intervention. Enjoy your re-education.

    Cessna Citation I markings

...for fear of unleashing some sort of plane crash totem? :D I'd think recreating a fiery descent in testors enamel paint would be technically challenging, and delight the creative mind.

Why is my mechanic so against a turbo?

Because you'll be wanting a new mechanic to go along with that new turbo whip.

    KPAO PIREP

A functional and competent thicket of aircraft. I've been like tenth to arrive and they handled it all like clockwork. Those controllers are saints. I'd spend some time with the taxiway diagram and understand where your intended transient parking is. The ground clutter matches the air clutter...

An elephant in the room: poor diet and lifestyle can lead to medical issues

What? fat people are more likely to stop a bullet for their family than some uncaring beanpole.

Van’s Aircraft ... Some Great News

That's about how I sorted that list also. I was amazed how many of those sites are now dead or nonsense -- and that list was only 5 years old. Fragile industry!

Toyota is right about EVs after all...

:D Welcome down the rabbit-hole. For our first 2 EVs we used a L1 charger off of a plug on the porch. Worked great for about 3.5 years. I've had luck using a medium gauge (12ga?) 25' extension cord for it as well, but I know you're not supposed to do that and it's probably not an ideal daily...

Toyota is right about EVs after all...

Why would you need an L2 charger for a 32mi range battery? I assume a 120V/15A L1 charges that overnight in appx 8 hours? I've come close to the pacifica PHEV once or twice. I'm still in a Chrysler "never again" holding pattern. Hoping yours lasts long. :)

    Eclipse jet

I've seen that video 3x and each time prior to this thread, my brain registered it as Cirrus Jet. Only now do I realize it's the lovely little EA500. I may have a bias here to explore. :D
