    Recommended route Atlanta > Tucson

Santa Theresa KDNA would be a nice stop, it is just past El Paso. Friendly, war museum on site, courtesy car, and restaurants and hotels right near by.

    Thinking about A Vans RV-12

That is correct. We will give the kids some flight time in it, then sell it. The other nice thing about Van's and these programs is after the bird flys they give you back 10% of what you have spent, nice chunk of change.

What's with all the "flight hazard" TFRs?

    Any Flight Bag advice?

Want To Buy CFI in Tucson, AZ

Check Kelly at Kelly's Aviation at Ryan, she is a great instructor but last I heard she was scaling back. She is worth the phone call, she taught my son to fly fixed wings, mention my name. Hope that helps.

    RV-9, anybody have one?

I did build it, but had a great painter (John Stahr) and some help finishing fiberglass and panel (Chris Sands, built several aircraft). I have a placard on the panel that says "10-10-22", took 10 years, 10 months and 22 days to build. I put an O-360 in her. Attached is a photo of my partial panel.
