Soooo... do you ever bring your own?

Once burnt fat is ok, it's when it's cooled and reheated that it becomes carcinogenic. French fries are what are typically carcinogenic.

    Where's my motivation?....

Seriously, if it's truly and completely not a financial issue, just buy a Cherokee Six, Lance, or Saratoga with big back doors and club seating. That will take care of your family airplane needs for a long time to come. If mama enjoys it, you'll find the money to support it.

    Where's my motivation?....

There you go.... There is a minimum that GA costs, and it's not low by any means, but the primary difference in most households with marginal discretionary income as to whether they can afford GA or not is if mama likes it or not.

Need a Good General Aviation For Commuting...Got Any Advice?!?!?

Did you add the last line to troll people?:dunno::lol: It's completely incorrect. You need to have an A&P sign off your annual condition inspection, that is the only restriction on a non builder/repairman certificate holder owner.

    I did it...

There are social perks to being a pilot?:dunno: A cool car or motorcycle will get you far more tail than an airplane ever will. The social perk is that when a friend has a family emergency 400 miles away at 01:00, you get a phone call for a ride.

    Oh, THIS Shouldn't Be Happening

Brief maint run ups don't always show a problem, sometimes mechanics fly them for the return to service, but not typically. As for FBO staff, really they should before they rent it out, but again, this is not typical.

    Oh, THIS Shouldn't Be Happening

    Oh, THIS Shouldn't Be Happening

However, P-leads are a thin cheap, mostly overlooked and neglected piece of wire typically as old as the airplane that drapes all over stuff that eventually will chafe through, or crack from heat and age, and ground out, shutting the mag down. The P-lead is the first place I look for any...

When was the last time AOPA asked you for money?

You know, it's not even that with me. If they did what I felt they should be doing to promote what I feel is in the best interest of GA and myself, hell, I'd give them $500 a year; but they don't. They either fail, or take the opposite side, on every issue I consider important. Medical reform...
