The rather nice young lady I spoke with last week actually asked for my e-mail address as it would be the fastest way to receive the medical, once issued.

Which one is slower? I'm sure that's where mine is. :)

I haven't asked, but I assume specialty.

I've called and e-mailed my RFS no fewer than 6 times. I've only received the same reply: "Your information is in review, please contact us anytime for an update." This entire process is beyond frustrating.

13+ weeks waiting for my information to be reviewed. 18 calls to OKC today, all met with the "we're too busy to answer your call" message. I haven't flown since April due to this ridiculousness.

I was actually elated to not receive the predictable response from Jane and was excited to be blown off in a whole new and exciting way!

I submitted my information at the end of July. Still waiting. Under review, as well. I found it hilarious that the FAA's med division was "down" today when I tried to call for my weekly blow off. Of course they were...:confused:

So that begs the question, why even call? Why get anyone involved? If we resign ourselves to whatever schedule the FAA decides, what good does our efforts really do? BTW, how long did you have to wait in total?

My favorite response from OKC today during my weekly "we could not care less" phone call. This one from a supervisor as I asked to speak with. I'm assuming he was hired based up his ability to train burger flippers: "Well, if you've been waiting nine weeks, someone else has been waiting ten."...
