This will not be cheap to get airworthy. Motor will require teardown due to impact. Case needs checked for possible crack(s) and crank X-rayed. Need prop, spinner, and spinner hub. Add in motor mounts. Seats pans need inspected/maybe replaced. Front cowling upper and lower - replace. New CAPS...

You didn't mention which motor you have. Have you read the engine operating manual? What does it say? IO-520 for ex. says temps of 170 in cruise to burn off moisture. In summer in climb routinely higher than this and that is fine. Pressure again in the manual.

IMHO this is a deal changer for the EFB market. I think Garmin caught the others sleeping on this. I think EIS is a strong competitor and I'm considering to replace my JPI to get certified AND to get the data on my iPad. Proper engine mgmnt is so critical; can't imagine not flying with one...
