    Single Pilot Airbus?

What fatigue issue? There’s no fatigue issue! How could fatigue possibly be an issue? That’s just the silly ravings of the uninformed! (Feel free to write me in on the next election.)

CPL stuff: Private, Non-common, common carriage ... oof

I’ve had the company lease an airplane…I was always afraid the passengers would call it a charter within earshot of the Feds.

Why do we switch fuel tanks before landing?

The 5- or 6- tank airplanes I’ve flown only allow takeoff and landing on one of them. My understanding is that it has to do, at least in part, with smaller fuel lines that can’t support takeoff power.

To some degree, yes. If you’re flying your friend’s airplane for hire, it doesn’t matter whether it’s people or cargo, as long as it’s his people or cargo. Taking someone else’s cargo crosses the 135 line.

Important aspects of flying (outside of passing the checkride) that a pilot should learn for PP.

I’d suggest not doubling down on defending ignorance or lack of proficiency.

You're providing the airplane and the pilot for air transportation...that requires an air carrier certificate. But if he hires you for a local flight to take pictures, that's allowed under 119.1(e)(4)
