looking for a used PS Engineering par200 A or B

Hi Dan, my suggestion is to go with the PAR200B. The user interface is much better and it has IntelliAudio. If you break it down it’s actually more cost effective than you think.

Panel Avionics Upgrade Options for my Navion

All I’ll say is that when selecting an audio panel, keep in mind that it is the central nervous system of your avionics suite. Select the right one for your mission and remember, audio control is our one and only passion (other than flying airplanes) -Mark

Panel Avionics Upgrade Options for my Navion

I just have to chime in. If Leo goes with the GTN series AND wants to install a Push-To-Command (PTC) button to use Telligence for voice commands, then it makes sense to install the GMA35c or GMA350c. But if Leo isn't interested in using voice commands, the prices are virtually the same but...

    iPad to Bluetooth Audio Panel

NOTE: with the GMA345 it is my understanding that EVERYONE will hear the audio alerts. During installation a switch at the rear of the audio panel can be flipped so then passengers will ALWAYS and ONLY hear music 2. In another words, IMHO, there is no music distribution only music selection.

    iPad to Bluetooth Audio Panel

Someone said that if one uses BT to pipe in audio alerts that the alerts would be muted. Most likely not a PMA450B user. One of the very unique capability it has is the pilot can hear what they want to hear, at what volume level they desire, and mute the way they want. i.e. Pilot select say BT2...

PS Engineering has stock of all of our audio panels

There has been so much turmoil in the electronics industry, even automobile manufacturers are not able to sell their vehicles because lack of electronic components. PS Engineering does NOT have this problem. Because we have always been laser-focused on audio panels, it is critical that we have...

    PMA replacement for KMA24

Hi SoCal 182, we do not build wire harnesses, we did a long time ago but it was way too time-consuming for our manufacturing folks. Also, we do not sell our products directly to end-users, never have, never will. We only sell our products through our wonderful authorized dealers.

    Weak Intercom Audio

PMA6000B without marker sell for about $1025. The PMA4000 mounts either in a 2.25” round hole or like an intercom. It sells for $899 and is a great solution if space in the stack is an issue. Getting a radio that has a built-in intercom doesn’t function as an audio panel. Having two radios...

    Weak Intercom Audio

IMHO a perfect application for our PAR200B!:D That way you could replace your older Com with the Trig TY91L and have state-of-the-art audio including IntelliAudio and Bluetooth. Just my two cents! Mark PS Engineering

    GMA245 vs GMA350 vs GMA35c

It does not. But, the PAR200B is an audio panel that has IntelliAudio AND a remote mounted Trig transceiver. So it could make for a great audio panel that would serve hi-if stereo Bluetooth music with a wide variety of music distributions. It also has very easy frequency storage and recall. Only...

    GMA245 vs GMA350 vs GMA35c

Here are my 2 cents, IF you are going with the GTN750Gxi and you want GARMIN’s Telligence, then the 35c or 350c are your only options. If you are not interested voice recognition and having a PTC (Push To Command) switch installed in your yoke, AND you have room for a stand alone audio panel...

    Dynon Certified Install

Hope you don’t mind edessa but I wanted to suggest you look into the limitations of the GM342. If you will be going to Oshkosh and you haven’t done the install, you can take The Big Brand Challenge at our booth where you can see first hand. Otherwise, please free to call us and I’d be glad to...

PS Engineering Senior Electronic Design Position

Definitely in person. The team we have work well together. Coming into work each day brings with it the opportunity to be spontaneous as well as creative. Bouncing ideas off of each other at the water cooler or a spontaneous “huddle” makes each day very productive. The other part is the...

With the growth of our product line, we are now needing to add a new position within our engineering department. I've listed the position on LinkedIn in case any Pilots Of America would be interested in joining our small but capable engineering team...

sound quality — radio or audio panel

Hi Dan, I have to say that the wealth of information regarding your question on POA is nothing short of amazing. Frankly, when I started PS Engineering in 1985, it was always my goal to provide no-nonsense audio control for GA. I really never gave any "thought" about audio quality, it was a...

    Best value audio panel?

I just have to chime in. For Sun N Fun 2018 and 2019 as well as Oshkosh 2018 and 2019 we (and again in 2021) we have at our booth the "Take the Big Brand Challenge". It's a lot of fun to do and it takes 3 minutes. We have a GMA345 next to our PMA450B and we ask 4 questions: 1) Do you want...

    PS ENGINEERING PMA 6000M update?

Actually, this is not correct. Here are the upgrade paths for slide in replacements. PMA6000, PMA6000M, PMA6000M-C are replaced with our new and slide in replacement PMA7000M-BT PMA7000S, PMA7000M-S, PMA6000M-S are replaced with the slide in replacement PMA7000BT There are all 100% Plug N play...

Its been 14 years since I flew and I cant remember. Can you hear yourself?

Jesse is correct, sidetone during radio transmissions comes from the radios, not the audio panel. Mic bias must change from the intercom to the radio to provide power allowing the amplified microphone to work. So, when our audio panels detect a PTT keyline going low, we switch the mic from the...
