    Interveiwing Pilots For highschool

Easy now @2-Bit Speed, probably public school Op, I might suggest posting this on https://www.reddit.com/r/flying/s/xnr3cU68HK I am but a lowly private pilot that flies for fun when I can/want to. But question 3 is very oddly phrased and I have no idea how to answer that if I was a commercial/atp

french fries (N/A, for potato's sake)

If we're bringing in onion rings I'm gonna counter with spam fries or cheese curds.

Can only do soggy fries if they're soggy from poutine gravy.

    Tankless water heaters

Put a tankless in back in 2016 when I built my house. Also put in a steam shower with a bench. Highly recommend.

the "not worthy of it's own thread" thread

For those not aware. Malort is a Chicago area alcohol used to unfriend someone in person. A truly foul drink. They use the same process as vodka. Except instead of potatoes they must use tires.

    Restaurant Feedback

Had a similar thing with yelp reviews skewing things. My rental has a very complex water softener and iron remover. Had one of the dealers come out to service it. The guy shows up late and then decides the brine tank needs to be cleaned and dumps it in the yard killing the grass. Dude has no...

How does one find a lawyer out of state? (asking for a friend)

But would you get the satisfaction of seeing the explosion from afar? Or would you be left wondering if it hit its mark

Insight Wanted: Survey on Catastrophic Oil Leak Detection

My apologies on some of my snarky comments as I’m trying to visualize what such a device would be. Or the actual usefulness over the current instruments already in the plane.

How does one find a lawyer out of state? (asking for a friend)

After hiring a lawyer after a customer wrote 2 bad checks totalling 8500. Paid a 3k retainer to take him to court only to blow through that just to settle and still not see a dime as of yet. I still see signs where this guy is doing work locally. I wouldn't hold my breath on anything monetary...

    Restaurant Feedback

Post COVID restaurants being understaffed seems to be a thing regardless of locale. Upscale to dive bar. Finding help is hard apparently. I hate leaving reviews in public domain. I would probably consider a more direct approach. If the manager is too aloof, tell your server to send em over. Or...

FFS. I need a new hobby.

Dads was from the magneto drive. He had suspected the A&P broke it as the mag was due for its 500 hour that same annual. After looking at it, it had been cracked for a while based on discoloration before it finally broke loose.

The self-flagellation of the frugal and mechanically minded(a rant)

I was 27 and single. Just finished building the house. Laundry was not high on my list of appliance due diligence. Now...that tankless water heater and steam shower were absolute necessities.

    Tires for F-450

Looking at the tread of the sailun, it looks pretty comparable to the Roadmaster 257 I have. Roadmaster and Sailun both come out of China. Roadmaster however is a subsidiary of Cooper so that at least made me feel better about offshore tires. The Falken tread doesn't look like what your looking...

The self-flagellation of the frugal and mechanically minded(a rant)

Samsung and water should not be mixed. Bought a Samsung washer and dryer that I vehemently hate. The drum broke after about 3 years. Like a chunk of the drum broke and I had a hole in the drum. Was part of a class action suit. Garbage. The washing machine sounds like a damn jet engine. Turns out...

FFS. I need a new hobby.

Dad had a boss like that end up in the suction screen. Thumbnail size chunk. Case sent to Divco. Got it back and a&p had a helluva time getting it back together. They somehow didn't do the final machining and had to go back. They turned that around pretty quick. But was still a 4 month annual
