    I think an older Cessna 172 would fit bikes better than a 150. Probably would need to remove both wheels, as well as the rear aircraft seat.     I used to fly some folks to SRR so they could race their horse at Ruidoso Downs. Flew in there 15-20 times. Always fun dealing with summer PM t-storms over El Capitan. I wanna take my C170 there one day.

    It’s easy to get in / out. Light traffic at ELP. As for the crosswinds… With mild delays (if any) you can request at better runway. Wind can get a little gnarly down there with the mtns.

    ELP is a nice airport, but I have only been there flying jets on someone else’s dime. Million Air is on point. Plenty of airspace around, be sure and look closely at the sectional when flight planning.
