I dunno - depends on the frame. ;) I've found that larger flashlights get too much attention from airport security folks overseas, so I'm back to a small but bright LED model.

It's not about the math, it's the maturity. I made all sorts of financial moves in my early to mid 20s that I wish I could take back, and it had nothing to do with a misunderstanding of the math. :p

Regardless of any environmental aspect, I'd think that being able to charge at home/work would make the number of stations required to support X number of EV vehicles favorable over what we have with gas stations now.

The rising costs don't help, but the thing that scares me the most about ownership is excessive downtime for maintenance. Stories on here about six month annuals, or year long engine overhauls (if you can find anyone to do it at all, apparently) - I pay $85/mo to my flying club and get ****ed...

It'll be interesting to see if age 67 on the 121 side results in more stringent medicals. As sedentary as a lot of these dudes are (not throwing stones - I can certainly do a lot better too), it might end up having the opposite effect as everyone intends. Especially now that LTD has been fixed...

In my experience, those with the passion seldom lose it. Most professional flying is a lot different than GA, enough such that after a busy stretch at work where I want nothing more than to be home for awhile, I still can't wait to hop out to the airport on a nice day and putz around in a club...
