You don't like the method where two pilots both think they have the right-of-way and neither gives way until they end up in a fireball? Hey, at least the NTSB can decide who won the fight.

Another unleaded 100LL replacement approved (Swift 100R)

Yeah, but they're doing that from the carburetor rebuild shop!

    Air-to-Air Piper Seneca

LOL, thanks! I don't always agree with their choices for the cover, but I like the one they chose this time!

    Air-to-Air Piper Seneca

Sorry, I didn't see your question before! There are a few pics of the interior. I rushed him because I had a deadline, but he was missing a few interior pieces due to backorder and I had to work around them!

Nan Chang CJ-6A mid-air LA County

I spend more time in formation than most people. One of the reasons I chose my 182 as a photo plane is that I sit up front. I've got a photo pilot flying my plane for me, but I'm also a pilot and sitting at the controls, so I can react quickly if something goes wrong. We're close, but we're...

I really couldn't believe it. I wish I had the video. He had to be throwing it up 10 fee in the air.

    Aviation Etiquette

At our airport one day, I noticed a 172 at the fuel pumps with a man and a woman next to it. They had finished fueling and I was shocked to see him throw the fuel handle up in the air and let the reel pull the hose in, the handle slamming the ground. He did this several times before I got to...

Did Dan Gryder retire from YouTube?

Not his normal style of jumping the gun? Maybe he hit his head so hard he thinks it's 1973. Maybe for once he can get the facts straight!

My favorite is "John, are you on 22.75?" Why are you saying the frequency? If they're not on the frequency, they won't hear you.

Hmmm... new #1? I only have a few rules in my hangar. 1. Anything in the fridge is available to anyone. You don't have to ask me if you can have something. 2. You bring beer and there is some left over, it stays. Then, see rule #1.

    Shutting down

That's the reason. You don't leave fuel in the engine. I was always taught to shut off all electrical before shutting down the engine, maybe something about a surge. I think this is more likely on startup though. I shut off radios, master & alternator, mixture, then mags.

Holland MI and Beaches Fly Over

Thanks for sharing. I've been toying with the idea of mounting a 360 cam to my plane!

    Air-to-Air Cessna 140A

I've had two and miss them both. We had 5 of them in our group of friends in Texas and would often fly 2 hours or more to lunch. Burning 4.5 GPH made that decision an easy one!

    Self serve fuel pump etiquette

Yeah, but to be fair, you don't even take the time to hit the shift button to type "I".

True. I've seen a few! Yes, there's a hangar in the photo!

    A2A Cessna 185 - Fat Tire Cowboys

Sounds like work to me! I enjoy the air-to-air photography and don't mind the editing time. I've had air-to-air video guys tell me I should do video, but I sure love my free time!

    A2A Cessna 185 - Fat Tire Cowboys

Yeah, I agree. The hangar is a sweet spot to hang out!

A2A Piper Super Cub - Fat Tire Cowboys

My photo pilot and I headed North to Lubbock, TX to meet up with a couple of the Fat Tire Cowboys. We shot a Cessna 185 and a Piper Super Cub. As always, great times!
