It's from Gensys.....it won't be cheap or reasonable. I'd be sure there is no water in the line and no leaks. Either of those will cause problems.

IMHO....most of these starting issues is a weak ignition system. Once I rebuilt my ignition system in the TSIO-520D....it starts easily hot with no weird tricks. I replaced plugs with Tempest fine wires, replaced the leads, and rebuilt the mags with new points.

This was the cheapest for me....is a hydrostat tractor.....a power tow wouldn't work. It won't do the job for me. I'm on a slope.

I wouldn't replace cylinders for blow by....before I did a ring wash on each of those cylinders. Likely your rings are gunked up with carbon and gue...

Bore scope your cylinders regularly and monitor the appearance of your valves. Burnt valves kills these cylinders. Not sure about your cylinders, but the ones on the 520 and 550's have a rotator (rotocoil) on the exhaust valve that keeps them spinning and running cooler. If the rotator fails the...

I could be wrong....but as soon as the strut extends the steering is disengaged and the wheel centers. But, this can be different on other models as pointed out by others. ;)
