    Any Hunters in Here?

I had an A1 most of my time too but the A2's were adopted just before I got out. Longer, heavier, three round burst instead of full auto... no thanks.

The older mountain bike thread but now a road bike review update

As an update, apparently the crank arm suffered damage so a new one is on order. Still. So it looks like I am in to at least sometime next week for getting it back. I did tweak the adjustments on my Tarmac. I shoved the seat forward, and tilted the bars up so now it feels a lot closer to how...

    Any Hunters in Here?

I think that the case deflector was a good idea, but everything else about the A2 blows goat penis. They finally got it right with the M4.

    Any Hunters in Here?

The Army kind of did adopt the AR10 in the form of the M110 sniper rifle, but much later obviously. The M14, in its accurized M1A and M21 configurations was a good rifle, but the M14 was never a good assault rifle. In fact, I believe the M21 is still in service to this day but it's role has...

    Q. What was the main condition on the Scotsman's parole? A. He wasn't allowed within 500 feet of a pasture.

Whelp, did 23 on the Tarmac today. The Cervelo is soooooooo much nicer to ride.

Read up on that stuff. It is a prescription drug in most other countries and it has a bad side. It is a strong coagulant and has caused fatal heart attacks, strokes and PE’s

Lay off the ibuprofen. You don't want to end up like me and get a PE attack and lose your medical and go on blood thinners.

Watts? I wish. The BSD said he's seen it before, and that it doesn't happen often but it does happen. The design of the clamping system can allow itself to work loose over time. There is a new crank spline piece on order. I do still have the Tarmac as a backup.

Of course this has to happen 10 miles from home… the splines in the crank were sheared off.

I'm back at it, this time a 3.7 lb baby back. It's starting to look good after an hour. At some point, it will start to smell good.

    [rant]Hokaphobia[/rant]

They all fit the same demographic. Or at least it started that way. Upper middle age, white, male, close cut hair with pattern baldness. It used to be confined to the gym, but like an epidemic, it is spreading to the streets, to the fast food restaurants, the shopping malls, and like a cancer it...

    Q. So how did the court show leniency on the Chinese poacher? A. They let him wok.

    Any Hunters in Here?

It's interesting to follow the story of the AR15/M16. In a bid to replace the M14 with something cheaper to produce and more reliable, Eugene Stoner came up with the AR10 concept which was a direct replacement chambered in 7.62 mm NATO. During this process, he had come to the realization that...

Governor signs ban on 100LL into law

I think some people mistake charisma for intelligence. He is charismatic but not particularly intelligent. His wealth came entirely from family money and he squandered a lot of it (he was a client of ours, I'm not proud to admit.) And people wonder why the state is in such an economic mess.

Pilot threatened with arrest for helping NC victims of Hurricane Helene...excuse me?

On the surface, it sounds like the fire chief is a real douche waffle. But, often times there is more to the story.

Have you ever spent six hours with your underwear on backwards?

There is a reason why 'commandos' do not wear underwear. After several days of crawling around and sleeping in sand and dirt, it becomes very abrasive.
