Hi, I was talking to my instructor today about over flying the field to enter the pattern and had a question he was unsure of. My home field (kpwk) has Two pattern altitudes. One for piston planes and one for jets. So when over flying the field which pattern altitude do you over fly?

how do i go about doing that? i figure if i go to school for it that's mostly what my days will revolve around if i go to school and fly separate then i have to work out the schedule which seems like a huge pain in the ass.

yeah, im trying to avoid an ex gf and her current bf who is in the aviation program and the other two schools have nicer facilities. not to sound like a snob or put anyone down.
