To the O.P.
I’m surprised Dr. Chien hasn’t opined yet here, but I believe the issuance criteria have changed this year.
I hope Dr. Chien will chime in soon, but I think in your case, the AME might be able to issue in his office.
Let’s see what he says. You might be in luck.
Yes Sir.
I do everything in your first sentence.
I guess what I gained is the knowledge/peace of mind that the most important coronary artery in my heart is only 20% blocked at age 62.
And thanks for the info that it’s not a concern until the sixty percent range.
Dr. Chien,
What are your thoughts on getting a CT coronary angiogram?
I had one done last year.
Results were 3 main arteries totally clear, and a 20% blockage in the LAD.
Total calcium score of 8.
I will be 62 in January.
An acquaintance of mine had hemorrhoid removal surgery a few years back.
He instantly regretted that decision.
Don’t do it.
The Doctor already beat me to it with regard to how it affects your medical.
My thought for you is get all of the grief counseling that you feel you need.
Do your best to avoid medication.
Your cabin in Canada isn’t going anywhere and will be waiting for you when you are ready.
Deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your daughter.

A high LP(a) isn’t a diagnosis of anything.

Stay away from them if at all possible.
As I stated above, I stand corrected.
As for your comment Fred, you might want to learn how to post something constructive and informative, or be otherwise quiet.
Have a great day.
Yes.
So I was wrong in my post about a non-instrument rated pilot being able to log instrument time while in IMC. I stand corrected. Thank You.
The OP asked, “Can I be PIC?”
I’m sorry. I understand that is a loaded question, but the answer is no.
While, as you guys corrected me, he can log...
Yes. I did read it.
Hence, my statements that I am confused and that I admittedly haven’t participated in such operations since before the Clinton administration.
That legal interpretation flies in the face of everything I learned and was issued well after I left this type of flying.
On top of...
Holy Toledo, am I confused- and I am a CFII. Although I will admit it’s been a very long time since I did any instrument instruction in small airplanes.
The OP asked what I thought was a pretty straightforward question.
He or she wanted to know if they, as a non-instrument rated pilot, can log...
