Chris Rocheleau - New FAA Head

Dang it, and I slipped President Trump 20 bucks to consider me for the position...

Just 'acting'. Temp position until the permanent nominee is confirmed.

dude has zero airline experience, other than riding on a plane what does he know about aviation??

He also does not ride VIP military helicopters.

Yet..............

A few highlights:

"He departed the agency (FAA) in 2022 to join the NBAA, where he serves as chief operating officer."
"Between stints at the FAA, Rocheleau was a senior policy advisor at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)."
"Before then, he was an officer and special agent with the U.S Air Force. He retired from the Air Force Reserve in 2010 as a lieutenant colonel."
"The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) also backed Rocheleau’s selection...."

I'd say we're doomed.

Not having airline experience may prove to be a plus for GA.
