Did anyone else pay to see this POS?
I really thought since Marky mark was the lead dude it would be good but I have dogs with more aviation knowledge than whomever they consulted for this film.

Fess up... Did you see it?
I tried to walk out but Eren said "This is so bad, I have to see how it ends"

I have seen so many bad aviation movies but they were mostly old and it seems like nowadays they have their crap figured out and have technical folks that do research and get most of it right but this was horrendous.

Even the trailer looks like it might be a good flick. This may be the first time the Funky Bunch is glad their paths diverted.

Just quickly from the trailer;
- Not sure how they hear each other with the mics 6" from their mouths?
- What's with the ratchet sound every time they move a lever?
- Going to NYC and over the rockies, why are they in a prop plane?

Please add:

Didn’t use checklists

Most of the movie they weren't wearing headsets and they would just talk to ATC as if they were in the plane with them. Both hands visible, no PTT, etc
The best scene was when the plane flys through a mountain of snow and comes out the other side still flying. There has to be a clip somewhere.

To be fair, Mel Gibson wanted this movie to come off as a sort of goofy, not-very-intelligent, "fun" movie (My words, not his) according to the discussion he had on Rogan's podcast a couple weeks ago.

They did that thing where they are constantly trying to feed you the plot via conversations with people. In this case the lady flying is talking to her coworkers on her iphone most of the film and the majority of the "Why are we here? Who double crossed whom?" is spoon fed through these really bad conversations. "Hi carol.... Well you have been the top agent for the last 15 years.... Bill? You mean Bill the former director that did all that stuff? That Bill?"

they didn't have the neck push to talk like in avatar?

29% on the Tomatometer was enough to dissuade me. Wife went with her Tuesday movie group of friends to Warehouse theater that has a bar. According to her even alcohol didn't help.

BTW, went to see September 5 there. Good movie, great theater.

That's bad

My wife made me go at the hope she can see Mark W without his shirt. Since it had aviation and Mark W she thought it would be a perfect date movie.

Eventually, she knew it sucked because I couldn’t stop sighing at the aviation blunders and she never saw Mark W without a shirt.

Without hair was probably less exciting.

Was excited to see this based on the trailer - but glad to read the negative (pilot) reviews. Sounds like I won’t bother

Let me guess. FBI agent realizes the "witness" is being set up all along, gets him where they're going, then helps him get away. Marky dies in a fireball.
#SpoilerAlert
Trying to remember. I think she lands it and Marky Mark I believe gets thrown out onto the runway and hit by a truck

The criticisms here remind me that, about 9 years ago, I accidentally played a pilot in a crime show (the pilot episode, get it?!).

I had uploaded an approach and landing to youtube. A guy contacted me, asking to use the recording in his production. It didn't bother me, so I sent him the original footage gratis with permission to do whatever he wanted with it.

He stitched different things together, and the scene involved a crime lord departing some unidentified jungle airport in a twin (filmed from the ground) and landing at a major airport in my single (cockpit-view).
