FTFY.Well, I know that bats are equipped with ground ̶r̶a̶d̶a̶r̶ sonar. But how do animals with more spartan nav capabilities keep ground reference?
Leather made from plants.WTH is vegan leather.??
WTH is vegan leather.??
I just saw a Tv commercial to recover furniture and car seats and it appeared the merchandise they are selling was real vegan leather.

Did the Washington Post article at least get the science better than The Independent that I screenshotted a couple posts up? I picked that one because they not only don't understand how the speed of sound works but also don't understand what the word "subsonic" means.Excerpt of the comments in a WaPo article about airlines hitting high speeds going to Europe due to the jet stream. Always amusing.
Hah, yes - the explanation in the WaPo article seems sound (pun intended). There is even a brief sentence explaining the difference between air speed and ground speed. And there usually are a few pilots eagerly correcting comments in the WaPo comment section of articles on the subject of our great hobby/profession.Did the Washington Post article at least get the science better than The Independent that I screenshotted a couple posts up? The comments are great, though. Are there some good Internet warriors tirelessly replying to explain things to everyone?
So if I remember the plot of Blade Runner, part of the problem was detecting the difference between a human and a replicant.
Today, is it possible to tell the difference between an AI generated story, and a "journalist" generated story? They both seem to mostly give incorrect answers based on pretty much nothing except knowledge of a bit of English sentence structure and an ability to collect data without really understanding any of it. I want to say I'm kidding, but not really.
I missed that part.. . . . knowledge of a bit of English sentence structure . . .
So. If the reporting “A” makes less sense than reporting “B”, “A” must be human. A reverse Turing Test.So if I remember the plot of Blade Runner, part of the problem was detecting the difference between a human and a replicant.
