I got an email to renew the registration on my 406 ELT. The link they provided doesn't work. Anyone know a work around?

my link worked....then I got a confirm letter with a sticker. I'm not putting the sticker in the plane. ;)

I just tried it in Edge as well, same response. Says "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR" down in the fine print

Strange. Works for me. Clear your browser cache(s)?

Nauga,
running clean

Nauga’s link works for three different browsers on my iPhone. All of those browsers are updated. One of them reports that the page requires javascript.

My aviation partner was able to get to the page, and he renewed the ELT. No devices on my wifi were able to access that page. Odd.

Got the same message when I click that link: "This site can't provide a secure connection"

It sounds like an issue with the site certificate. Maybe it updated, and someone (whether you or everyone else) has a different version of it locally cached. When you clear cookies & data in the browser it doesn't normally refresh cached site certs.

I put my sticker in my plane on the lower right-side of pilot's panel. If the ELT is set-off accidentally, the phone number and ID are readily available.
I'd just turn it off....if it's a big deal they will call you. ;)
