importing an airplane from Canada to U.S.

Transport Canada should be able to decertify same day. They did when I imported my plane
This plane will be in US having been flown here from Canada by seller. After inspection if all is well we finalize deal and then he decertifies.

How best to do this to get it done in a day?

Best done via escrow in the US. They knew how to do it.

I was planning going the Canada route for a Cessna 150, however looking at the process, unless I got. Real deal on the Cessna 150 I will wait until a decent deal in the U.S. comes along! I do not want to get upside down!
Thoughts from any one!

HELLO GUYS, CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF A PILOT WITH AN AMERICAN LICENSE CAN FLY AN AIRPLANE WITH CANADIAN REGISTRATION TO TAKE THE AIRPLANE FROM POINT A TO POINT B TO CHANGE THE REGISTRATION TO THE U.S.

I’m pretty sure the answer is “no”

Buying a plane in Canada and relocating it / changing registration to US is an involved process taking a bit of time from what I’ve read. Do a “Search”.

I know folks in here who have done the importation thing. I was sufficiently discouraged I didn't want to incur the price risk of getting stuck with a lump of coal when I went to re-register it in the US (EAB in my case). I'm sure it would have flown fine, but I wasn't willing to incur the procedural lack of assurances. 60K cash is nothing to the money bags on here, but it's still an object in my life as a W2 serf.
