[NA] NYC steakhouse suggestion

I was there a week before the OP’s visit. It was jam packed that evening too. Definitely the holiday season effect. Table next to ours turned over three times while we were there. Normally, the place is very nicely relaxed and not loud at all.

Everything has a “justifiable” threshold. Just as most of us ignore it when it comes to satisfy our flying bug. BTW, linear never follows a curve. ;)
