Learnin’ to fly…
Out of nowhere, my flight plans from ForeFlight are no longer syncing to my Garmin 175 nor from the navigator to ForeFlight.

It’s probably my penance for mentioning in a similar thread that I don’t find the size of the screen to be a challenge as I create and modify my flight plans in ForeFlight and so never deal with the small/scrolling keyboard of the Garmin 175.

Anyway - I’ve done all the simple stuff - phone and Garmin are connected via Bluetooth. Flight plan sharing is turned on. I’ve cycled Bluetooth on both devices. I’ve powered cycled both devices. I’ve unpaired and deleted the connection and recreated it. No joy.

Anyone had this? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I had a similar issue with my iPad and my GI-275 (which feeds my GNX-375). Tried pretty much everything you did. As I recall, I think I ended up having both devices "forget" each other and then did a full power-down of both devices, along with turning the avionics switch and the master off for several minutes. Basically, as hard of a reset as I could think of. Then I restarted everything and went through the pairing process again, and everything has seemed to work since. There's definitely some occasional weirdness with pairing Garmin stuff.

Thanks. I realized as I was reading your response that I “forgot” the connection on the 175, but not on the phone - so I’ll try that too.

Stupid questions:

Flight Plan Import turned on in the 175?
Bluetooth with the 175 as opposed to a transponder? (I’ve seen that happen with other Garmin units)

Yep, the flight plan import is turned on. My transponder does not have Bluetooth - but - my headset does. I’ll try disconnecting from my headset and seeing if that is creating a conflict. Thanks!
