Any POA members flying from San Diego to Chicago? :cornut:

I can check. It does come apart and can be boxed up but I think weight might be an issue. Whats the zip code?

I think weight would be an issue and Texas is closer than Chicago, dang, looks nice and I’ve been sort of wanting one.

Yeah, Im going to assume its going to be expensive to ship. I did ship an engine to my house from Michigan last year. It was on a pallet and I used uship and it was $700. So I would assume to Texas this will be $300-400 and probably similar to Chicago. But if your truly interested I can look into it

75069 how heavy is this thing? I have a Comanche as well and I'm parked in one of those open hangars but it's kind of on a slope so putting the plane in is a major PITA. Having a tug like this would probably help a lot.

If shipping is $300 then I’ll take it. -> Waukegan zip 60087

looks like we're in a t u g of war here.............

I think I have the upper hand here, looking at @mandm profile picture, the wings of his plane are attached incorrectly and Comanche drivers will always help a brother out

Ok thanks, are you looking into shipping costs? I posted an ad on uship and waiting for bids.

Ill stop at the airport this morning and get an actual weight and dimensions for everyone
Do you have a photo of it folded up as well? People on uship are asking. Thank you.

Ok, heavier than I thought. I also dont have any pictures of it folded because Im only going to disassemble it if someone buys it. It a couple of bolts for the handle and the front connectors.

Weight: 117 lbs
Size when folded: 26” L x 19” W x 15” H

I got a quote from FedEx so if you’re willing to box it up and ship it, then I’ll take it. Sent you a PM. Thanks in advance. From M&M with the Happy Arrow waiting for her little tug to help her.

Its still pending because I have to find a box that is big enough and sturdy enough to not have the bottom fall out, so its still pending for mandm

If it goes unpending, let me know. UPS to Dallas is only just over $200 to ship. @mandm have you tried UPS?
Goshippo is $132 via UPS to Chicago for 117lbs. I need to buy an adapter to fit my Arrow but I’m totally fine with that. I think a regular box, bubble wrap the motor and small pieces, use a whole roll of packaging tape and I’m fine with that. Write fragile on the box.

See my post in the other thread. I may have a better answer for you. And mine may not need any changes to work with an Arrow.
