I shot this beautiful 182RG. It may be the nicest one I've ever seen.
Was it N7557X? My favorite, too.Cessna 182RG with a Horton STOL kit on it

Thanks! 70-200 lens, shutter speed 1/80Great shots! Mind if I ask what lens setup you use for those kinds of shots? What shutter speed do you have to use to get the full prop circle blurred?
Sorry - I'm getting more into photography and find myself pondering "Hmm... Wonder what those settings were for that shot?" when I see a good one. Obviously, there is more to great shots than just the settings, but gotta start somewhere. ha
80th of a second, for air to air photos? Thanks! 70-200 lens, shutter speed 1/80
It has image stabilization in the lens, but I have a Canon 1DX Mark iii camera which is very heavy and that helps. Nope, not very many discarded. I shoot as low as 1/40 handheld on older radial engines and on those I lose a few. I shot 1/30 shooting a Sikorsky S-76! Lots of practice I guess.80th of a second, for air to air photos?
Must be a VR lens, which helps on your end, but doesn't help with freezing the subject. Do you have a large percentage of blurry frames to discard?
