Uber/Lyft of the skies

What was the most recent company to go bankrupt trying this? I hope Soar avoids the same mistakes.

Looks like they're an actual 135 operator. There's some questionable claims on the website, but they might actually be trying to do this legally. We'll see how economically viable it is.

Curious how flying for them works.

This Air-Taxi has been serving Western Washington state with Cessna 172s and Piper Cherokees for nearly ten years. The fleet continues to grow, hope that means they're making money. Unfortunately, you never really know if you're ahead until you sale the company.

Looks like it’s California only, they hire 500 hour pilots and leaseback Cessna and Pipers, and pay for avionics upgrades (wondering what that means). Sounds cool but I don’t think they are in Chicago.
