It was a great weekend. I flew out to Memphis for the grand PA-32 fly-in and bumped into my big bro @Rgbeard. It’s not every day he’s on this half of the continent!

After a massive burrito from one of the food trucks, the best part of all, we got to fly together in the T-Tail Turbo Lance. I wish we had snapped a pic, but we were too busy having fun and I was too busy trying to fly the airplane. It was embarrassing how behind the airplane I felt - what a beast! It is definitely not a PA-28 ;) . . . Good times were had.

Of course I couldn’t visit Memphis and not see a few of the sights

Came back to the airport and had some tasty Memphis BBQ in the hangar for dinner, with and a pretty good turnout to boot!

He used to have an actual beard. At least he did when we met up in the People's Republic of Davis.

So Rusty, I didn’t know Josh Grodin was your little brother

I'll have to admit, I never thought of the PA-32 as a type that would have an owner group like that. Pretty cool.
It started as a Facebook group. I went to the first fly-in, in Memphis in 2021. Great bunch of folks and fun to hang with!

No kidding, I was at that one also, I don’t remember meeting you.

I was with my neighbor in Lance 91V. I chatted with a few guys but didn’t catch too many names. Mostly just hung out and enjoyed the company.

It was impressive how big and well-organized it was, especially with how short the spin-up was.

My friend has since sold the Lance, but I’d I’d wind up with a -32 I’ll be an active member.
