Would love to book a vintage warfighter plane flight for my father and I. Does anyone know or have any advice on how to arrange this type of flight in or near Pensacola?

I will check that one out some other time when we are in the area! We are currently in Pensacola for the week!
 
Don't know of any in that area, but the Blue Angels practice session can be viewed from the Flight Line on October 16, if you are still there. Just go to the Naval Aviation Museum on base. I'd get there by 0930.

Is your dad by chance a veteran? There's a group that has a flight before the Blue Angels Beach Airshow every year in July. Veterans Flight. They use mostly Stearmans but have also had some T-28s fly with them too.

Nah, he is not a veteran. Just an old warbird enthusiast! We would love to see the blue angels! Unfortunately our trip to Pensacola is coming to an end a couple days before they are back on base.

It’s not a fighter, but is a PUREBRED WWII aircraft that would be SUPER fun given the visibility, the venue, and reasonably priced.

DO NOT forget the Naval Aviation Museum, or thy shall have men cards revoked… just sayin….

Haha we toured the naval aviation museum Sunday! Thanks for the advice, I may give this group a call. Completely unrelated but a necessary mention because of my anxiety level. I have my ppl checkride next week! Ha
