Hello all
New to the board and looking for some help.
I was a lapsed pilot for many years until the FAA Mosiac plan came along. I figured now would be a good time to jump back in since I retired and have the extra time. Well...I'm still waiting for Mosiac to kick in and in the mean time went and did my BFR after several dual hours and thought I'd try Litesport while I'm waiting. Dont much care for the plane I was flying so I'm looking for a partial ownership in my area, (Venice FL.) or someone who rents litesport aircraft. I'm new to the area so dont really have any contacts. I have a Comm. licence, SE/ME land and instr. ratings. Any help would be appreciated.

Flybright in Punta Gorda shows an LSA on their website.
 
Are you eligible for Basic Med? That would open up some options beyond LSAs.

No I'm not. Its been too long since I had a medical. Thus the reason I'm waiting for Mosaic to start. But I can fly litesport rules in the meantime.

I just moved back here to FL from Wickenburg/Wittmann AZ. I tried it for a while but I missed the beach. I flew out of Glendale and Stellar (P19} airpark.
 
Try the flight school at Sebring they do LSA training.
 
I'd like flying that Vans for a while, but its a 2hr drive to get there.
