I'm trying to decide if that's a plushie (Garfield maybe?) in the nose or spray-foam. Could convince me either way.

That is a stuffed toy that has been there since shortly after the aircraft made its way to the museum. I’ve been surprised that no one has ever suggested that it be removed.

As usual, Jack hit another one over the centerfield fence that hasn’t landed yet.

The second ground photo shows in the front seat a delightful guy that flew Cobras in Vietnam ca. 1969.

Is there a safety or operational reason that the two helicopters I’ve seen you shoot recently don’t show the belly? Rotor wash? Or are clean bellies on copters not that interesting?

I shot them both from a B-25. By the time the show me their bellies, they’re gone!
