Used/overhauled G-600?

I looked at Aspen a couple years ago and they had remanufactured units available. Does Garmin do the same with the G-600? I know they take them on trade for the Txi upgrades. Just looking for less expensive options! I’m looking at dual 275’s, but if a reman is available it could narrow that cost gap.

I have not seen a remanufactured G600. It's not an over the counter item. Dual 275s would be a good way to go!

i dont know if they actually take them back, or the avionics shops do. Check with the big guys like Sarasota, Gulf Coast, etc. Those "exchange to Txi" deals like upgrade GTN750 to GTN750Xi are NOT garmin deals. they are run by the avionics shops themselves - where they then sell the traded in avionics either through their used section or some other avenue. . .

Thanks, I looked at Gulf Coast and zero G500 or 600’s ‍ I’ll ask when I pick up my son’s 182, they have to be going somewhere

I’m in the same boat. My MFD/PFDs are no longer supported and one box is already dead weight.

Would much rather have a G500 or G600 if they can be had at a significant discount to new.
