A little history of the Cheeseburger...

Lionel Sternberger's Creation: The most widely recognized story credits Lionel Sternberger, who, at the age of 16, is said to have placed a slice of American cheese on a hamburger patty at his father's sandwich shop, The Rite Spot, in Pasadena, California, around 1924. This combination was initially called a "cheese hamburger"

First Official Cheeseburger: The first sandwich officially labeled as a "cheeseburger" is claimed by Kaelin's Restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky, which introduced it in 1934. This establishment asserts that it was the first to use the term "cheeseburger" on its menu

Trademark Claim: In 1935, Louis Ballast of the Humpty Dumpty Drive-In in Denver, Colorado, trademarked the name "cheeseburger." This further solidified Denver's claim to the cheeseburger's history
