GRT Hxr display download help?

Just got my LAST airplane. a RV 7 with GRT dual displays. I downloaded the updated data bases for IFR flying on my USB drives however the directions to download them on the Grt displays is lacking? anyone have any suggestions? I called support and havn't heard back as of now. thank you in advance for any input you can share.

Tons of GRT users over on VAF. Not so many here. I've got the little brother GRT HX, but never download anything other than firmware. The HX isn't very user friendly with flight plan in my opinion.

I would guess download to USB, insert USB onto back of HXR, enter menu for maintenance, look for uploading data option.

And don't screw up settings in the maintenance menu. In fact, backup settings to your USB should be your first step.
