1 hurt after airplane lands on North Carolina interstate, gets hit by car

The plane landed on I-840 West in Greensboro.

Seems like this scenario has happened often enough to be notable. Someone gets the plane safely down on a roadway to then be hit by a car after getting stopped.

Maybe if there's no risk of fire we should leave all lights on until emergency vehicles arrive?
