Karol DeGraw, wife of famed rotorcraft builder Dick DeGraw was killed Sat. evening around 9pm local in the crash of their DeBird 2 gyroplane. She had just departed from the runway at their home in Napoleon, MI and crashed in a heavily wooded area 1-2 miles away for unknown reasons.
